What is the Conference Fee?

The conference fee 2017

700 €
(6835 NOK, 6984 SEK, 5210 DKK)

Price extra night approx. 95€ (700 DKR)

Included:
Accomodation from Monday 9th to Thursday 12th.
Accomodation single room
All meals
Free coffe during all breaks
Free Wifi
Free parking

When shall I pay the fee?

Payment for the conference fee must be made at the hotel at the reception.

How can I register?

The only way to register for the conference is to do it online via this website.

Registration may only be made through this Nordic ADL website and not via the hotel's own booking system!

Registration is open until 31. March 2018.

When should I register?

Register as soon as you can!

Is it possible to register as a group?

No. Individual registration is required for the Nordic ADL Conference.

Where do I pick up my badge?

You can pick up your badge at the Registration Desk at any time during Registration Desk hours.

I need to cancel?

All cancellations must be in writing and can be emailed to Major Michael Thorsen at mith@fak.dk, phone +45 728 17231.

Cancellations made 30 days or less before Conference date, may incur a 100% charge!

What is the dress code?

Business casual is recommended.

FAQ - Transportation

How to reach Vingsted by car

It's easy to get to Vingsted by car

From the south: Exit the motor way at exit 62 near Kolding, route 176, and drive towards Billund and Bredsten, route 176, which takes you directly to Vingsted.

From the east: Take the motorway towards Kolding, then use exit 62 for Billund, route 176, which takes you directly to Vingsted.

How to reach Vingsted by train or bus

By train or bus

The railway station in Vejle is about 12 km from Vingsted. There are regular bus services to and from Vingsted.

Refer to www.sydtrafik.dk and www.dsb.dk for more information on timetables.

Transport from Helsinki to Billund

Attendees from Finland has an opportunity to fly straight from Helsinki to Billund with Airforces plane.

Conference fee for speakers?

There are no Conference fee for approved speakers.

This means that:

  • All Conference services,
  • Accomodation,
  • Meals,

ARE ABSOLUTELY FREE!

When will I be approved as a speaker?

All speakers will be notified about their approval status, no later than February 1st.

Technical equipment (Auditorium)

In the auditorium we have following equipment:

  • Data projector
  • Laptop
  • Table monitor for presentations
  • Wireless internet
  • Wireless microphone
  • Pointers etc.

What is the requirements for the presentations?

All presentations shall be sent to Major Michael Thorsen at mith@fak.dk, phone +45 728 17231 before the conference.

May I practice my presentation in the Auditorium?

Yes, the Auditorium is open for speakers to practice every evening after the official program.

What is the timeframe?

The timeframe for

  • Keynote speakers: 45 mins.
  • Speakers (Auditorium): 30 mins.
  • Parallel sessions: 40 mins.
  • Workshops: 2x40 mins.

Will someone introduce me?

Yes, every speaker will be introduced before the presentation by a member of the ADL program commitee.

Whats the size of the booth?

A basic booth is 3 x 3 meters and extra space is available. (also outside)

All personal of the participating Organization/Company must registrate as regular attendees.

Booth will include eletrical acces points and free wifi available in whole Conference area.

Show some action?

If you need to show some action or a demonstration, we have special time for that in tuesday and wednesday just before lunch.

You can have your demonstration inside as well as outside the hotel.

Is it possible to lend AV equipment?

No - Please bring Your own device (Booth).

All conference rooms are fully equipped though.

 

What about sponsoring?

We hope to get sponsors to our official and unofficial dinners.

Sponsoring Organization/Companys will be able to advertize their logos, banners etc. Or maybe You can have a short speech during dinners?

We are open for suggestions!
