April 13, 2018 at 9:22 AM
This year's conference held at Hotel Vingsted near Vejle has now been completed and again it became a successful conference with 134 registered participants, well-entertained by more than 30 highly skilled and dedicated speakers. We had participants from all the Nordic countries as well as Bosnia and Herzegovina, Canada, Germany, Georgia, Macedonia, The Netherlands, Serbia, Slovenia, United Kingdom, Turkey, Ukraine and the United States.
The conference was opened by Rear Adm. Niels Wang from Royal Danish Defence College.
Unfortunately, there was a slight drop in the online transmission, which we obviously apologize for.
This years event provided an excellent opportunity to discuss all aspects of this years main subjects:
- Emerging Technology
- Use of Technology
- Animations and graphics
- Motivation of online students
- Producing video lectures
- Designing and developing learning assets
- Multiplatform delivery of courseware
- Practical use of (emerging) learning technologies
- Motivational and pedagogical learning strategies
- Developing blended learning courses
- Training needs analysis
The conference also offered workshops and parallel sessions with a great opportunity for dialogue. In addition to this there was opportunity to visit the exhibitors area, where participants could see and try out some of the displayed VR products.
Thanks to all attendees, exhibitors, speakers, thanks to this years keynote speakers: Mr. Joakim Jardenberg (Jardenberg.com, Sweden), Mr. Donald Clark (Wildfire Learning, United Kingdom) and Mr. Julian Stodd (Salt Sea Learning, United Kingdom), and also a great thanks to those who helped in the wings to get it all to work.
We hope to see all of you again next year (May 14th – 16th, 2019) in Gol, Norway!
