ADL Conference 2024 Completed

With 160 registered attendees and speakers from each Nordic country as well as from United States, Canada, United Kingdom, The Netherlands, Italy, Romania and Ukraine, it once again turned out to be a very succesfull conference.

The conference was opened by Major General Michael Cherinet, Head of Swedish Armed Forces Training and Education and Lieutenant Colonel Rickard Weman, commanding officer of the Armed Forces Leadership and Pedagogy Development Unit in Halmstad.

This years event provided an excellent opportunity to discuss all aspects of this years main subjects:

• Learning tools
• Learning science
• Learning methodology
• Learning technology
• Producing animations and graphics
• Producing video lectures
• Designing and developing learning assets
• Multiplatform delivery of courseware
• Practical use of (emerging) learning technologies
• Developing blended learning courses

The conference also offered parallel sessions and workshops with a great opportunity for dialogue. In addition to this there was opportunity to visit this years partners in the exhibitors area, where participants could see and try out some of the displayed products.

Thanks to all attendees, exhibitors, speakers, thanks to this years keynote speakers: Professor Andy Van Schaack (USA), Senior Researcher Carl Heath (SWE) and Ms. Hillery Hommes (The Netherlands), and also a great thanks to those who helped in the wings to get it all to work.

We hope to see all of you again next year (May 5^th – 8^th, 2025) in Hyvinkää, Finland!
